About One-To-One Private Mentorship

Mentorship at Sahab is a sustained creative dialogue. Each session offers focused editorial and artistic guidance shaped around your work’s needs and your long-term aims. Whether you are refining a manuscript, shaping early ideas into form, or seeking direction in your practice, mentorship creates space to think, write, and revise with intention.

You’ll receive close, individualised feedback that sharpens craft and confidence, while developing the critical awareness to guide your future work. Over time, this process establishes rhythm, independence, and momentum, helping you move from private reflection to public readiness.

Writers

Who mentorship is for

This mentorship is for the writer ready to move beyond isolation into a sustained, accountable practice. You have work that carries promise and moments of brilliance, but it needs structure, precision, and feedback that deepens your intent. You are seeking more than admiration: you want conversation, critique, and the discipline to shape a manuscript that persuades real readers. You understand that writing matures through dialogue, and you are ready to treat your craft with consequence

You might be:
  • A mid-career writer refining a manuscript that has stalled or scattered focus
  • A creative seeking one-to-one guidance to clarify purpose and direction
  • An emerging author wanting professional feedback before publication
  • A teacher, editor, or academic rediscovering your creative rhythm
  • A serious writer who values deadlines, dialogue, and developmental rigour

The Ecology of Mentorship

We work from a relational pedagogy of authorship — an ecology in which writing and reading depend on one another.
Write your awesome label here.

This mentorship framework is not a syllabus but a set of editorial tools. It offers structure without rigidity, supporting the writer–mentor relationship as it unfolds. Each stage can be applied and revisited according to need, guiding the work rather than constraining it. The aim is discovery: to identify what your writing already seeks to become, and to develop a process that produces repeatable, self-sustaining skill.

Course reviews

"Prior to joining the community, I wrote mostly for myself and never for who might be reading. Through thoughtful feedback and conversation, I began to understand how audience shapes meaning and how a story sounds when it’s heard, not just written."
Dr Cybelle Yazbeck

"Reading my own work aloud and listening to others gave me a new perspective on tone, pacing, and clarity. It’s the first time I’ve truly felt part of a community that reads with care and helps you see your writing in a different light."
